Thalia's Tree

Gracie walked up the hill with the picnick basket. She sat down, waiting for Mason.

Mason walks up the hill, not liking how it was so steep. He finally reaches the top, sitting down next to Gracie. He was happy that she brought the picnic basket, since he totally forgot to. "Hey." He says, a little nervously.

Gracie smiled as she saw him, "Hey,"

He sits down next to her, making sure that he wasn't in danger range of the metallic dragon. Then he notices something a bit different about her, oh yes, Gracie must have done her hair. She looked awesome. "You look great." He comments, saying aloud his thoughts.

Gracie blushed and pushed back her hair, Thanks,"

"You're welcome." Mason says, pretty unsure if that was the right thing to say. At any rate, she wasn't laughing at his odd sense of fashion, meaning it was a big hit or at least cool looking. "SO, what's up?" He says, for want of a conversation.

Gracie made one of those awkward smiles and ignored the question. All she had been doing was run around her cabin like a nut trying to impress someone on how she looked. She opened up the picnick basket, "Sandwich?" she asked him pulling out two.

Mason felt a little bit annoyed that his lovely conversation starter was ignored, but shrugged it off. "Sure." He says, accepting a sandwich, wondering what type.

She smiled and took a bit of her sandwich, "Its nuttella and fluff,"

Mason had never had Nuttella or Fluff before, but he knew about them being sweet. He bit into his sandwich, instantly liking the sweet flavor. "This is good." He comments, after swallowing.

Ooc:
I used to love Fluff.

ooc-I know me too, but after seeing my sister eat it *shudders* no thatnk you, I like nuttella though

bic- Gracie smiled, "I know," the hazel colored nutella was around teh corners of her mouth, almost touching her dimples.

Ooc: I never had it.

Bic:
Mason takes another bite of his sandwich, making sure not to get it all over his face. That would be just plain embarrassing.

Gracie smiled, "So how long have you been here,"

Mason thought for a bit. "Almost a year, I think." He says. Anna would know for sure.

Gracie nodded and took another bite of her sandwhich, "That's a long time,"

"Yeah." He says, taking another bit out of his heavenly sandwich.

"I've been here since April."

Mason counted in his head. April.. Now it's November.... " You've been here six months." He said, sure that he was right.

Gracie nodded, "I guess I have," she reached into the basket and found some water, "You want some?"

Mason was thrilled that he had done some math correctly. "Sure." He said, holding his hand out for some refreshing water. Unless, it was warm water. Then it wasn't very refreshing.

Gracie smiled and handed Him some water.

Mason gratefully accepted the water, draining about half of it in one gulp.

"Thirsty much?" Gracie asked. Her face broke into a smile and she laughed.

Girl's have a weird sense of humor. Mason couldn't help but think, as he started laughing. It really was a nice day just too be happy on.
